  • LL-3253 - Products metrics on the Reports tab now includes a ranking of all product sales, not just the top selling. 

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2808 - Now, when you close a modal your position on the page is preserved so you can resume scrolling from where you were before you opened the modal. This fix only applies to desktop, not mobile or embedded stores.
  • LL-3228 - Custom storefront messages now display on all mobile devices.
  • LL-2532 - Custom role permissions are restored for all users.
  • LL-3218 - When a delivery zone or pickup location is deleted, historical orders continue to reference it.
  • LL-3233 - When a delivery zone is deleted, historical orders for that zone can still be exported.
  • LL-3232 - When a delivery zone name is changed, the updated name now displays on all exports.

Enhancements

  • LL-2929 - A new Reports tab is available with metrics dashboards that give you insights into all areas of your business. See the knowledge article for more details.
  • LL-2130 - A Buyer's full postal address, including 9-digit zip codes, is referenced to determine the correct tax rate.
  • LL-3200 - A streamlined registration form makes signing up that much easier.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-3222 - Some email notifications, including signup verification emails and order confirmations, were sending with broken links between June 16 11.15 am EST - June 17 10.15 am EST. All email notifications now contain working links. Email notifications that were sent with broken links are being resent.
  • LL-3218 - Delivery zones now display with the correct name in filters and reporting.
  • LL-3203. -The error that displays when you attempt to upload a product image that is greater than 1 MB is no longer displayed when you retry with an image that meets the size limitation.

  • LL-1356 - You can configure delivery zones by city/town, postal or zip code or radius. See the knowledge article for more details.
  • LL-3147 - "Certified Naturally Grown" is now available as a certification you can display on your storefront.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-1926 - Customer Activity Feed metrics in the Customers tab detail view are restored.
  • LL-1463 - When the storefront or product URL is shared on Instagram or Twitter, the link includes your storefront's cover photo or your product image.
  • LL-3126 - Some registration verification emails contained a broken link which is now corrected.
  • LL-3071 - Product images are now capped at 1 MB to support quick storefront loading times. 
  • LL-1966 - Seller registration now accepts uppercase letters.

  • LL-3072 - Help text is displayed for the Google City dropdown menu to help guide users to select the most applicable region for their account.

  • LL-3086 - The redirect to the Local Line Community has been updated to link to the Local Line Facebook Group, which replaces the Community.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-3069 - If a Buyer adds a product to their cart and the Producer marks it invisible, the product is removed from the Buyer's cart and they are unable to checkout with it.

Enhancements

  • LL-1636 - You can modify the subject line of your catalog email. This feature is available from your Catalog Schedule settings and your Customers tab.
  • LL-2978 - When you close your store, your custom message is still displayed and Buyers can browse your products.
  • LL-3021 - If a seller makes a product unavailable by removing it from their catalog after a Buyer has added that product to their cart, an inline message displays in the cart to inform the Buyer.
  • LL-1197 - Suppliers of hubs and markets can hide their products from their partner storefronts by closing their store. 

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2169 - If a Buyer adds products to their cart and then the storefront is closed, they are prevented from checking out.
  • LL-2985 - The Proceed to Checkout button in the cart is unaffected by catalog changes.
  • LL-3009 - Inactive sellers no longer display on the Buyer's Supplier List, and Buyers that visit a market supplier storefront organically are redirected to the market storefront if the market is open.

Enhancements

  • LL-816 - You can choose to display out of stock products on your storefront. See the knowledge article for more details.
  • LL-2974 - Update store credit balances for customers individually or in bulk directly in the Customers table. See the knowledge article for more details.
  • LL-2618 - The Customers download now includes the Catalog they are assigned to and their store credit balance, if applicable. See the knowledge article for more details.

Enhancements

  • LL-223 - When updates are released you are prompted to refresh the page. This helps avoid stale pages which can result in unexpected behaviour.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2389 - When using the "select all" feature to reassign products from one category to another, only the products within the category are selected, not all products throughout every category. 
  • LL-2542 - When a Food Hub updates an order, the corresponding Buyer and Supplier orders update accordingly, as does Supplier inventory.
  • LL-2192 - When a Market Supplier assigns a Market to their private catalog (instead of a public one), all of their products are displayed on the Market storefront.
  • LL-2586 - When a Buyer clicks to view a Supplier's products in their Supplier List, and the Supplier was connected with a Market that is now inactive, the Buyer is directed to the Supplier's storefront instead of the Market's storefront.

  • LL-2503 - A Payment Options filter is now available on the Orders tab and the following orders reports now include a column for Payment Options:

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2352 - Customers that register and checkout of a public Market storefront are now added to the Market's Customers tab so their orders are consistently logged in the Market account.
  • LL-2772 - The Orders - List View report now displays individual product tax instead of total order tax for each product, where applicable.
  • LL-2782 - More friendly error messages added to product upload workflow, to help you identify the problem if the upload is unsuccessful.
  • LL-2788 - The line item total on an order doesn't get stuck at $0.00 when editing the product unit.

Enhancements

We are continuing to make progress on the storefront design refresh, and the Square Terminal integration is now in a closed beta! Keep an eye for the official launch in early 2021! 

  • LL-2581 - There are now two more convenient ways to initiate the flow for logging buyer orders! You can click the Log an Order button on your Home or Orders tab. This enhancement also supports the Square Terminal workflow.

  • LL-2705 - The Discover tab now loads as expected in Food Hub and Market accounts.

Enhancements

We are continuing to make good progress on the Square Terminal point-of-sale feature, and the storefront design refresh! 

  • LL-2631 - Customer First/Last Names and Email Address are now in the Orders Summary with Product Details.
  • LL-2568 - How the system stores dates and calculates lead times was overhauled for more stability.  Also, now lead times are based on the seller's timezone instead of Eastern timezone.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2656 - Product pricing is now restored on embedded storefronts.
  • LL-2662 - The product package conversion now displays the correct base unit price.
  • LL-2675 - The Category column in the Orders - List View and Summary Pick List are restored.
  • LL-2672 - The Supplier name is restored on the order/invoice record in Hub accounts.
  • LL-2343 - Historical orders are unaffected by product updates.

We're also nearly done work to make delivery and pickup dates and lead time calculations more stable, and based on your local timezone.

Release 2020-11-06

Enhancements

We are making good progress on the Square Terminal point-of-sale feature, and the storefront design refresh!

  • LL-2373 - Storefront loading time is decreased, especially for accounts with many products. The most noticeable areas of improvement are:
    • Filtering by Supplier (in Hub and Market storefronts)
    • Searching products
    • Navigating to different pages
  • LL-2189 - A new Orders Summary format is available. This format is in CSV format and excludes product details. This is because when some sellers with many products tried to generate this report it would produce hundreds of columns in the report and sometimes exceeded the limitations of the program the report was downloaded to, and so the report was incomplete. The new format also includes these new fields:
    • First/Last Name - records are ordered alphabetically by Last Name
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Order Notes - only Buyer Checkout notes
    • Tags
    • Payment Option
    • Payment Status

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2577 - Some Square access tokens failed to auto-renew, preventing some Buyers from checking out. The auto-renewal mechanism is now restored.

Release 2020-10-23

Enhancements

We are making good progress on the Square Terminal point-of-sale feature, and the storefront design refresh!

  • LL-2543 - Online Payment settings are now managed from the Payments tab in your My Store settings.
  • LL-2382 - A Square Location setting has been added to the Online Payments settings. You define location(s) in your Square account. Locations represent payment gateways. We recommend that you add a location for your Local Line online payment gateway and set that as your default. Doing so ensures your Square reporting indicates which orders were paid via Local Line.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2537 - When adjusting a product unit's weight on the order detail view, the total field now updates accordingly.
  • LL-2548 - The product unit how displays as expected in the order detail view in accounts with the Advanced Inventory add-on. 
  • LL-2535 - The Orders Summary report now shows the correct quantity for a product, including when the product's inventory is adjusted from All Products (Supplier accounts).
  • LL-2550 - In some cases, the pickup or delivery date that was displayed at checkout was a day before or after what was specified in the Delivery Plan or Pickup Location settings. Dates displayed at Checkout now align with what you have specified, and all affected historical orders have been fixed. You will have received an email about this with more details if you were affected. 
  • LL-2567 - In some cases, the pickup or delivery date would adjust a day before or after what was specified in the Delivery Plan or Pickup Location settings after your Buyer submitted an order. This is now resolved, and you will have received an email about this with more details if you were affected. 

Release 2020-10-09

Enhancements

  • Store credit is launched! This feature is now enabled for all paid Supplier and HubPlus accounts. Read the blog to learn the different ways sellers are using the feature, and see Apply store credit to a Buyer account for instructions on how to use it.
  • LL-458 - You can now assign pickup locations and delivery plans to a catalog so your buyers only see the logistics options that you specify for them. See Assign Pickup Locations and Delivery Plans to a Catalog for more information.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2504 - Hub Supplier orders no longer display the Hub's marked up price.
  • LL-2528 - Custom checkout messages are restored in the order email confirmation.
  • LL-2536 - Subtotal and Total are now displayed when logging an order on behalf of a Buyer.
  • LL-2537 - When adjusting the unit of a product from the order detail view, such as after weighing it, the total product price is adjusted accordingly.
  • LL-2539 - Previously, Hubs had to manually cancel the corresponding Supplier Order(s) after canceling a Customer Order. Now, when a Hub cancels a Customer Order, the corresponding Supplier Order(s) are canceled automatically. This also ensures inventory is not returned twice. Note: We strongly recommend that Hubs use the cancelation workflow when an existing order requires changes to its products, price or quantity. While we are preparing to overhaul the order update workflow soon, please cancel an order and log a new one with the changes applied to ensure all order records and downloaded reports contain the updated details. 

Release 2020-09-25

Enhancements

  • LL-1960 - You can now add a custom storefront message to communicate things like store hours, delivery and pickup options and to ask your Buyers for a review.
  • LL-2265 - Download the new Download Orders - List View report in CSV format that includes these enhancements:
    • Orders are listed alphabetically by Last Name
    • There is no header so you can sort and filter easily
    • The custom checkout message isn't displayed in the Order Notes column (for orders placed moving forward).
    • New fields added: First/Last Name, Email, Catalog, Product ID, Product Category, Supplier Name (for Food Hub and Market accounts).

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2521 - When a Food Hub downloads the Download Orders CSV report (only available to Food Hub accounts) and an order contains a taxable item, the tax rate is only applied on that item and not all ordered items from that Hub Supplier.

Release 2020-09-11

Enhancements

  • LL-2374 - Storefront performance improvements. Now, the storefront loads 9% faster, and for Foodhub and Market accounts, the Supplier dropdown loading time is improved by 13%.
  • LL-1739 - Your buyer's store credit balance is now displayed in the storefront. Note: this feature is still in beta so is not currently available in all accounts.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2475 - Some buyers did not receive clear confirmation that their order was placed which resulted in duplicate orders. The confirmation workflow is now fully restored.
  • LL-2482 - Square experienced downtime due to a technical issue for a couple of hours which prevented buyers from being able to pay for their order. Square and Stripe payments are now fully operational.

  • We made further progress on the store credit feature that is currently in beta.

  • LL-2304 - Buyers are now prevented from selecting a pickup or delivery date that is not specified by the seller.

  • LL-2278 - Buyers are now prevented from ordering quantities that exceed available inventory.
  • LL-2405 - Buyers using the Google Chrome web browser that logged in after adding items to their cart can now successfully checkout on an embedded store.
  • LL-2403 - The "Totals" row is no longer offset by one column to the left.

Enhancements

  • LL-2044 - Supplier and Food Hub accounts can now customize payment options that their Buyer can choose from at checkout. See Configure payment options for more details.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2242 - Market and Food Hub accounts can now successfully send direct messages to their Buyers and Suppliers.
  • LL-2300 - Products with inventory that were not previously displaying the storefront now do.
  • LL-2387 - Buyer can now successfully checkout on iOS Safari 13 on mobile.
  • LL-2362 - Buyers no longer receive a 403 error when clicking to View Store in the Catalog email.
  • LL-2372 - Clicking a Supplier name in the storefront product listing no longer returns a 403 error.

Release 2020-07-17

We kicked off our store credit beta program and also did some general platform maintenance.

Enhancements

  • LL-2202 - When a Market Buyer clicks a Supplier in their Supplier List, it takes them to the Market storefront with the listing filtered to display that Supplier's products. This workflow improvement helps to ensure that orders placed by Market Buyers are logged in the Market account as well as the Market Supplier account.
  • LL-2274 - The "old" Pick List is restored. Now, when you click to download your Pick List you are prompted to select either the Detailed (old) or Summary (new) formats.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-1928 - Low-stock email notifications are restored.
  • LL-2285 - Sellers can now log orders on an iPhone that's running iOS 13.
  • LL-2322 - No 400 error is displayed when viewing an embedded store with a private Catalog. 
  • LL-2230 - Product updates are now reflected in the product dropdown list that Sellers select from in the Log Order view on the Customers tab.

Release 2020-07-03

Enhancements

  • LL-2237 - The storefront now loads 4 x faster for Food Hubs that have a large number of products in their catalog. 
  • LL-2186 - A new Orders CSV report that includes product, Supplier and Buyer details is available for Food Hub accounts on their Orders page.
  • LL-1985 - Various platform updates to improve our Square integration.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2219 - Inventory display issues on embedded stores are resolved.
  • LL-2230 - When you update a product price, the updated price is now indicated if you log an order on behalf of your Buyer.
  • LL-2232 - The issue causing some orders to replicate is resolved.

Enhancements

  • LL-2191 - A new and improved picklist format is here! Head to your Orders page to check it out!
  • LL-2071 - The date picker at Checkout is updated for greater usability.
  • LL-2072 - Market Buyers can now view full Pickup and Delivery details on the Market storefront so they know what is available to them before they shop and proceed to Checkout.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-1946 - When a Market Buyer views their Supplier List after logging in, all Market Suppliers are now listed, not just those that have a Pickup or Delivery plan for the Buyer's area.
  • LL-2209 - The Checkout error "Request not authorized" is resolved.
  • LL-2211 - The 500 error at Checkout is resolved.

Release 2020-06-05

Enhancements

  • LL-145 - First and Last Name are now required fields on your customer's registration form. The Account Name field has been renamed Business Name and made optional.
  • LL-1853 - The Buyer First and Last Name details are now displayed on the Customer Info tab in the customer detail view.
  • LL-1793 - Market accounts now have the option to make their Suppliers page the default landing page for their storefront. See Make the Supplier page my default storefront page for more details.
  • LL-1798 - Sellers with catalogs that have greater than 0 days payment terms can now opt to display a Pay Now button at Checkout, to allow their Buyers to pay for their order right away. See Enable "Pay Now" button at Checkout for catalogs with payment terms greater than 0 days for more details.

Fixed Issues

  • LL_2049 - All customers can now be filtered using the Filter by Customer filter on the Customers page.
  • LL-2141 - When you check the box to select all of your customers on the Customers page, all customers are selected.

Release 2020-05-22

Enhancements

  • LL-2047 - Buyers are now prevented from editing orders after they place them. They can still cancel their order, but only up to the Seller's longest specified order lead time cutoff.
  • LL-1854 - The Checkout now displays a complete tax breakdown and totals, as do order confirmation emails, and orders downloads: Orders, Invoices, Order Summary.
  • LL-1840 - Food Hub users can now configure their email preferences to not receive the email confirmation that is sent when the Supplier Order is created in their Edit Account settings.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2014 - Storefront performance is improved for Sellers with catalogs that contain a large number of products.
  • LL-2038 - This error is no longer be received when downloading an Order Summary: "Something went wrong...Cannot read property 'first_name' of undefined".
  • LL-2074 - The Hubsupplier reference in Food Hub and Buyer order views is restored to a numeric unique identifier.
  • LL-2064 - New order email confirmations are now being sent consistently.

Release 2020-05-08

Enhancements

  • LL-2003 - Food Hub accounts can now download a report that details how much they owe to their Suppliers. See Download Supplier Payment Report for more information.
  • LL-870 - Food Hub Customer Order numbers and Supplier Order numbers now correspond to each other. The Supplier Order number is the same as the Customer Order number, only appended with the Supplier’s unique ID.
  • LL-1594 - Orders downloads have been optimised for larger downloads, and so that you can click once to select all order records through all pages of results.
  • LL-1999 - A loading bar has been added to indicate download progress.

Fixed Issues

  • LL-2024 - Emails sent through the platform, including manually-sent catalog email blasts and automatic emails like order confirmations, now send with more reliability and without a delay. 
  • LL-2003 - When you Download Orders or Download Pick List, columns with numbers are now formatted as a number instead of text, so you no longer need to convert the cells to number format before you can apply a sum total.

Release 2020-04-24

Enhancements

  • LL-1721 - You can now override the default tax rate for your products and your delivery/pickup fees. See Override the default tax rate for more information. 
  • LL-1917 - New product base units have been added for you to choose from:

  • LL-1763 - The message that displayed while products were loading on the storefront saying, "You don't currently have access to any of these supplier's products" when the Buyer does have access to the supplier products has been replaced with a loading animation.

  • Work continues on a new version of our Orders feature for Hubs and their customers, to deliver greater stability, better overall performance and enhancements!

Fixed Issues

  • LL-1951 - The error "No Connection - There was a problem connecting to the Local Line servers. Please check your internet connection and try again." has been resolved.
  • LL-1697 - If a product is added to a cart, and then the product is made unavailable by the Seller, the cart does not break but instead the Buyer is notified that an item has become unavailable and upon dismissing the alert message the item is removed from their cart with other items intact. 

Release 2020-04-09

Enhancements

  • LL-1799 - A Supplier can now connect with multiple Food Hubs to sell their products through their store. 
  • LL-1803 - The order confirmation email now includes delivery/pickup fee, subtotal, applicable taxes and final total.
  • LL-1815 - Customer addresses have been added to the Order Summary download.
  • Work continues on a new version of our Orders feature for Hubs and their customers, to deliver greater stability, better overall performance and enhancements!

  • LL-1879 - Our Google maps API was temporarily suspended and then restored.

  • LL-1512 - The Square payment integration is now more stable and remains connected unless you manually disconnect it in your Store settings.
