Updating the "Tell us about your business" box in your Store settings does not save and apply to your storefront.
If you make changes to the "Tell us about your business" box in your Store Settings on the My Store tab, they will not save to your About page on your storefront unless you have a Phone Number specified in your profile (on the same page).
Add a phone number to your profile to successfully apply the changes to your storefront About page.
