Manage your 2.0 account settings
Access your 2.0 account
Users migrated from 1.0
If you have a Local Line 1.0 account you can access your 2.0 account by entering your existing sign in credentials at: login.localline.ca.
- Enter your Email.
- Enter your Password.
- Check the Remember me box to save your sign in credentials to the web browser password settings.
- Click Sign in.
New Local Line users
If you do not have a Local Line 1.0 account you can sign up for a 2.0 account at register.localline.ca.
- Enter your Email.
- Enter a Password. It must contain at least 8 characters, one symbol and one uppercase character.
- Enter the Name of your store.
- Select the applicable Currency.
- Click Create your store.
- Choose which subscription plan is best for your business. To see a more detailed comparison of the plans, visit our marketing site at https://site.localline.ca/pricing. If you have questions about the plans, contact sales@localline.ca.
- Click Get started on the plan you choose.
- Share optional information about your farm that helps us understand your needs better.
- Click the dropdown menu to specify How long you have been in business.
- Click the dropdown menu to specify When you plan to launch your store.
- Click Next.
- Enter your farm’s contact information. You can update this information later from your Settings page.
- Enter your First name.
- Enter your Last name.
- Enter your Phone number.
- In the Business Address section:
- Enter your Address.
- Select your Currency from the dropdown menu.
- Specify your Website URL if you have one.
- Enter a Referral code if you were referred.
- Click Next.
- Add your payment information.
- In the Card details section, enter your credit card details and zip/postal code.
- In the Billing address section, click the radio button to specify whether your billing address is the Same as your business address or if you want to Use a different billing address and then enter the Billing address.
- Click Start building your store.
- Check your inbox for an email with the subject line “Activate your Local Line account”.
- Click Activate.
- Enter your Email.
- Enter your Password.
- Check the Remember me box to save your sign in credentials to the web browser password settings.
- Click Sign in.
Manage your 2.0 account settings
You can manage your business info from the Settings page.
Business info
Users migrated from 1.0
If you have a Local Line 1.0 account, the following fields are automatically migrated to your 2.0 account:
- Business Name
- Phone Number
- Email
- If the Contact email field is blank in your 1.0 account, the primary email associated with your account is applied.
- Currency
- Business address
If you have only signed up for a 2.0 account, this information is captured when you sign up including the Business Address field which ensures the correct timezone and taxes are applied.
To edit this information, go the to Settings page and make the needed changes. Then click Apply.
New Local Line users
You are prompted to specify these details when you sign up, but not all fields are optional. You can view or update the following business info details from the Settings page:
- Business name
- Phone number
- Website
- Business address
Click Apply to save any changes that you make.
Subscription
You can view your subscription details and make changes to your subscription from the Subscription tab.
- Go to the Settings page.
- Click Subscription.
- Update your subscription.
- To change your subscription billing frequency, click the applicable frequency in the Change subscription section.
- To change your subscription plan, click the Change to [plan name] button for the plan you want to change to.
- If you want to add a premium feature to your subscription, go to the Add-ons section, adjust quantity (if applicable), and click Add to subscription.
Billing
Update your billing details.
- Go to the Settings page.
- Click Billing.
- Update your Payment method.
- To edit an existing card's details, click Edit.
- To remove an existing card, click the x icon next to it. Then click Delete to confirm.
- To add a new card, click Add card. Enter your details and click Save.
- Update your Billing address.
- Type in the new address and click Apply.
- View Billing history.
- To view a period's billing detail, click View invoice.
Users
You can invite your teammates to your account.
- Go to the Settings page.
- Click Users.
- Click Add user.
- Enter their email and click Send invite. This sends them an email that prompts them to register.
To delete a user, click Delete next to them.
